After a major iOS 26 update, it’s common for Caller ID features to temporarily stop working.
Some users may be unable to turn on the Live Caller ID Lookup toggle (Sync.me - Part 2) in:
Settings → Apps → Phone → Call Blocking & Identification → Sync.me - Part 2 → enable
Why This Happens
After a major iOS update, system settings may not initialize correctly right away. This can temporarily prevent certain toggles from being enabled, including Caller ID features.
What You Can Do
🔄 Restart Your Device
In many cases, a simple device restart resolves the issue.
- Turn your iPhone off
- Wait a few seconds
- Turn it back on
After restarting:
- Go back to Call Blocking & Identification
- Try enabling the toggle again
For most users, this issue is temporary and gets resolved after a restart or within some time as the system stabilizes.
We are currently monitoring the situation and awaiting a fix from the iOS side, as this issue is related to the system itself and has also impacted other Caller ID applications.
Please rest assured that our team is actively investigating the issue, and resolving it remains our top priority.
